Okay i know it's so boring and there has recently been something similar but really i need to know... What's so bloody brilliant about a blackberry?! I've never had a contract phone and top up my pay as you go about £50 a month so have finally decided to get a contract. I've been looking at deals and the new curve isnt so expensive... I have never been interested in a blackberry and hate how it's a total craze right now to have either an iphone or a blackberry. i just want to know why?! the last thing i need is to be on facebook more than i already am so what else is it good for apart from the internet? I really cant see what all the fuss is about!! |

I have so many clothes, shoes, bags etc. to sell on ebay. Do you think now is a bad time to sell on there, as alot of people are listing unwanted gifts, or should I just join them? Also, any tips on how to get views on ebay items? TIA x |

 Ahhh, my new beauties from the TopShop Sale! educed from £150 to £45 I believe... They had no size 7s, but I took a risk and ordered the size 6 instead and they fitted perfectly. I like to think of them as Dominatrix Mountaineering Boots :) |

Are we ready to bring back bumbags? Louis Vuitton:  Topshop:  Urban Outfitters:  I mean I guess they have their uses but seriously? I just still have the image of me wearing a bright pink one to death when I was 8 burned in my memory and I just don't think I can do it again! I always wonder if people would still wear them if Prada hadn't made a version, which Topshop can then copy - probably not...although I guess that can be said for a lot of fashion trends e.g. the cage skirt - don't get me started on that! |

two things really, first: Do you need a special sharpener to sharpen YSL double-wear eye-liner pencils? It looks like if you used a normal bog standard sharpener it wouldn't really work/would break the eye-liner...I don't want to ruin mine finding out I should have bought a special one! SECOND- Today I was looking at loads of my mums pictures from when she was a younger having a good old chuckle at some of the pretty questionable clothing/hair styles of her and her friends circa the 1970's and 80's, to the tune of my mother's agreement and protesting that "It was in fashion then!". This got me thinking about all the things that have gone in and out of fashion over the past decade and how I'm sure that when my children look at pictures at me when I was their age or during my young adulthood, they'll wonder what kind of sartorial crack I was on when I also tell them "But that was what everyone wore!". So - What do you think will be remembered as the biggest fashion and/or beauty crime of the noughties? Will we be cringing at the thought of Jeggings and Uggs? Fake Louis Vuitton bags? does anyone remember 'shreddies'- those combat trousers with shredded straps of material hanging off them? Will you be cursing yourself for ever getting a Pob, or for ridiculously long hair extensions? or blonde hilights in very brunette hair? or for wearing "don't laugh, they're comfy" Crocs? Will the "thong song" make you shudder and remember everyone wearing those gross g-strings over super low low hipsters? Or will you just pass the buck onto men and tell future generations of girls that at the beginning of the 00's all the fit lads who you knew that used to wear fake Burberry caps all turned into skinny Fred Perry polo, skinny jeans and winkle picker wearers? |

Hi guys, happy new year everyone! I'm not sure if you will be able to help, as I'm not sure if what I'm looking for actually exists, but anway.... I have recently moved out of home for the first time (apart from uni when I lived in furnished accomodation) and was lucky enough to have 2 sofas given to me, unforunately as they came from two different people they don't match at all! one is white which I love and the other is kind of red, so what I'm looking for is ideally some kind of white sofa cover is such a thing exists? Or alternatively a white throw big enough to cover a large-ish sofa. Do any of you know where I can find anything like this? thanks :) |

can anyone reccomend any good quality ear plugs? my mum has admitted she has a problem with her hearing but won't even go to get it checked out and as a result the telly is blaring every single night and i can't get to sleep because of it. i can't ask her to turn it down because since i do it every week night now she just gets pissed off at me and says it isn't too loud. i'm worried that they will make me sleep through my alarm though but i'm hoping that since my phone is always right beside me then i shouldn't miss it but it would just be my luck. i've had a look around and seen a few but wanted to check if there were any ~good quality~ ones that anyone would reccomend because most of the ones i've tried for travelling have just irritated me. thanks :) |

I know theres lots under the tags, sorry to ask, but I'm heading to London on Wednesday (6th - 11th) with a mate, its a sort of spur of the moment thing. In terms of packing, its snowing here and is freezing cold. Should I be packing winter woolies for London? Whats on at the moment? We're both into films and art, so anything along those lines would be fab. Silly question, but oyster cards... can I purchase them in any tube station, I'll be landing in Luton. My friend already has one, and from being there before transport (as well as everything else) is very expensive. What times do buses/trains run until at night? And when do they start up again in the morning? Venues... twee/shoegaze night on regularly in London? Really wanted to go to 'How Does It Feel?' but I think the night runs after our trip :( But anything similar would be great! Sorry again for another London post but I'd rather ask you guys with personal experience than trawl through a load of useless websites. |

This is going to sound like a stupid question but how do you get to sleep? I've been pretty restless lately, exams are coming up and my brain won't stop planning how much I'm going to revise the next day giving me headaches until the early hours. Then when I do fall asleep I have classic anxiety nightmares, which I do know the cause of, my drink was spiked a few weeks ago and I had a horrible experience where I lost everyone and collapsed on the street, it totally freaked me out and the nightmares pretty much started then! Do sleeping pills work? Are they safe? I'd never usually try anything like this but I'm getting desperate. Currently having my boyfriend over to stay is making me sleep easier but he's already sick of me begging so something else, anyyything?! :) Oh and usually I'd have a lovely, hot bubble bath but I'm back at uni so... no bath! Thanks in advance guys, sorry if this entry sounds frantic, I'm so tired! :( |
